ORIGINAL GUIDE / REVIEWED 29 OCTOBER 2026

A holiday stay, a long rental and a property purchase are different briefs

Prepare the right questions before asking an operator, owner or listing partner.

Name what you are looking for

A few nights in a resort, a furnished home for several months and a property purchase require different availability and agreements. State the intended duration and use at the start. A villa listed as accommodation does not establish that it is offered for a long lease or sale.

Ask for an address-specific offer

For a rental, request the actual unit, permitted occupancy, term, included services, utilities, deposit, repair responsibilities and cancellation or termination terms. Photographs and an attractive village label are not a substitute for confirming which property and rights are offered.

Keep purchase questions with the appropriate professionals

For land or a house purchase, identify the actual seller and authorised representative. Qualified Indonesian professionals must assess title, buyer eligibility, access, permitted use and transaction documents. This guide does not certify a property or propose an ownership structure.

What this first collection contains

The sourced stays directory links to operators and public resources. No approved house-sale or long-term-rental inventory has been supplied. Future listings need current permission, verified price units and an update contact before publication. Save a brief rather than treating an operator entry as a sales listing.
